The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
